About VikramJeet Singh

Yoga Educator | Mentor | Ayurveda Practitioner
Authorized by Sharath Jois in 2022 to teach the Primary Series, Vikram brings nearly 20 years of experience in asana, philosophy, and breathwork. His teachings blend tradition with modern insight, offering students an accessible yet profound entry into yoga’s deeper layers.

Vikram’s journey began in 2006, and since then, he has accumulated over 11,000 hours of teaching experience across Canada, the U.S., and India. He studied extensively in traditional Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, receiving authorization from Late Sharath Jois to teach the Ashtanga Primary Series in 2022. His work is also deeply informed by his studies in Ayurveda and yoga philosophy, allowing him to guide practitioners beyond physical movement and into a holistic understanding of yoga.

As a mentor and educator, he trains teachers to develop an authentic voice, integrate philosophy into practice, and navigate the evolving landscape of yoga with cultural awareness and integrity. His workshops and mentorship programs emphasize breath awareness, alignment, and mindfulness—tools that extend beyond the mat into daily life.

Vikram believes yoga is a lifelong inquiry, one that invites us to move with intention, breathe with awareness, and live with purpose. Whether guiding practitioners through asana, teaching the nuances of pranayama, or exploring the wisdom of ancient texts, his goal is to provide a practice that is both accessible and profound.

When Vikram is not teaching, he lives in Goa, India, where his greatest teacher, his daughter Satya, reminds him daily of the beauty of presence and curiosity.
